| Recent Announcements 7/21/2010: Now Accepting Entries for 6th Annual UMCGC Alumni Art Show The Alumni Art Show is back! The Sixth Annual UMCGC Alumni Art Show will be held Thursday, October 28, 2010 in the River North neighborhood of downtown Chicago. The Art Show has been a local alumni favorite for years, and each year over 20 artists and 300 guests come together to make it a spectacular evening. All University of Michigan alumni are invited to submit their work, regardless of degree and area of study or if they've exhibited before. All works are to be original pieces created by the submitting artists no earlier than 2005. Click here to find out more information and download an application. Please contact Alyssa Burns at alyssa.burns@sbcglobal.net or Pat Kosmerl at pkosmerl@sbcglobal.net with any questions. 7/21/2010: Notre Dame Bus Trip Travel with fellow Chicago Wolverines to South Bend, IN to cheer on the Maize and Blue as they take on the Fighting Irish! The game is on Saturday, September 11th 2010. Charter busses will be departing from Downtown Chicago and dropping bussers off within walking distance of Notre Dame's football stadium. Exact pick up time, pick-up location, cost, and more details will be announced soon...save the date! 7/14/2010: Alumni Football Tickets Available for UConn, Iowa, and Illinois
The UMCGC has received it's annual outlay of Alumni tickets for the 2010 football season. If you are interested in purchasing tickets for any or all of these games, please email our UMCGC Alumni Ticket Line at UMCGCTickets@gmail.com. There is a limit of 6 tickets per person, per game. There is also a deadline to purchase tickets of one month prior to kick off for each available game. Tickets are available on a first come, first served basis. If you are interested, please email UMCGCTickets@gmail.com for all the details and codes to purchase your tickets! 6/28/2010: Problems with Website A server crash has caused us to lose much of the content on the UMCGC website. We thank you for your patience as we work to restore the content, and we are sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused! 6/23/2010: Changes on Facebook In an effort to streamline communications on Facebook, we have deleted the UMCGC Fan Page and are encouraging members to join the UMCGC Group! This way, we will easily be able to share all events with all members! Young alumni events will be still be designated as such. The alumni club is putting together a list of all Michigan-friendly venues in the area who would be interested in hosting club events (meetings, events, etc) during the 2010 programming year.
